Introductory Remarks
Just some brief points here for now — more to follow:
1. Time passes slowly #1 & 2 are definitely keepers.
2. The new piano version of Spanish Is The Loving Tongue is nice too, but nowhere near the circulating solo piano version. It’s a step in the direction of its consummate cousin, but it comes nowhere near it on any scale.
The Bootleg Series, Vol. 1–3: Rare & Unreleased 1961-1991 (1991)
The Bootleg Series, Vol. 6: Live 1964 (2004)
Mama, You Been On My Mind, With God On Our Side, and It Ain’t Me, Babe are duets with Joan Baez. Silver Dagger is sung by Joan Baez alone.
The Bootleg Series, Vol. 4: Live 1966 (1998)
The somewhat cryptic sub-title of this album reflects the fact that the concert, which circulated widely among collectors long before it was officially released, was for a long time believed to have been the final concert of the English tour (May 26 or 27, 1966), in the Royal Albert Hall, London.
