Chords
G7sus4 3x3010
      C G7sus4 C
These hands aren't the hands of a gentleman
                G C
These hands are calloused and old
          C C7
But these hands raised a family,
      F C
These hands built a home.
          C D7 G . . F | G G7sus4 . .
Now these hands raise to praise the Lord

These hands won the heart of my loved one
And with hers they were never alone
If these hands filled their task,
Then what more can one ask?
         C G7sus4 F C
Oh these fingers have worked to the bone.

          C C7
Now don't try to judge me
        F C
by what you'd like to be
   C G7sus4 C
My life ain't been a success
           C C7
While some people have power
    F C
but still they grieve
            C D7 G . G7sus4 C/g | G . . .
while these hands have brought me happiness

        C G G7sus4 C/g
Now I'm tired and I'm old,
    G C
and I ain't got much gold.
      C C7 F
Maybe things ain't been all that I planned.
         F
But Lord above, hear my plea:
          C Am
When it's time to take me,
       C G7sus4 C
Take a look at these hard-working hands!
